Walking Each Other Home

Walking each other home- 

I have often had this thought, this idea for a painting for some time. I feel like life is a spiral staircase, winding upwards. Each step, each challenge, each moment of struggle carries a lesson meant to help us grow and awaken. Sometimes those same issues reemerge, and we have to repeat the lesson.. but at a higher turn of the spiral. With each return, we gain more awareness, more growth, more wisdom. The lessons might come back in new forms, repeating until we meet them fully.   Along the way, we are never truly alone — there are always souls beside us: loved ones, teachers, guides, and unseen hands reaching out to help us climb the next rung. And once we’ve learned, we use that wisdom to help lift others.

After all, aren’t we but reflections of one another — mirrors of light and the shadows of our self reflected back? We are each miracles made of love, walking each other home. 

This painting is a reminder that we are not just human beings stumbling through experience, but luminous souls on a shared journey back to Source — to the radiant truth of who we really are. We never truly end; we simply return home. 💗
