What is the right balance to being human?
Do you find yourself working too much—spending 8–10 hours a day spinning on a wheel, where every day feels the same? Or do you make time to enjoy family, friends, and life’s quiet mysteries?
Life is a dance of polarity. We live between two sides—light and dark—and both are necessary. Going too far in either direction pulls us out of balance. As humans, we walk a delicate line, and one hard moment or unexpected shift can knock us off course. Yet it’s through struggle, through contrast, that we learn and grow.
The right side represents the dark: the moon, cool colors, night, rain, and the need to work in order to survive. Work is necessary, but living only to work comes at a high price. The left side represents the light: the sun, warm colors, happiness, curiosity, and a deep appreciation for life itself—especially the gift of being alive. Without the dark, we would never truly appreciate the light.
True balance comes from honoring both—doing the work we must, while holding gratitude for life, connection, and presence. To find that harmony may be humanity’s greatest achievement. 💜
