I’ve always felt drawn to the forest—for its quiet mystery, its beauty, and the deep sense of peace it offers me when life feels overwhelming. There’s something incredibly calming about being surrounded by trees and the creatures that live among them.
For me, nature is a spiritual connection. Like many ancient cultures who believed in a sacred “world tree” linking us to the divine, I see the forest as a bridge—a place where we remember who we truly are. No matter where you are in the world, a forest is a refuge. A sacred, earthy sanctuary.
Whenever I feel sad, anxious, or in need of grounding, the forest becomes my place of healing. The moment I step into its woody scent and leafy greenness, it’s as if she whispers, “Welcome home.”
I created this painting to embody that feeling—the mystery, the peace, the sense of belonging. I hope it brings you a little of that same tranquility, and a reminder that nature is always waiting to hold you, too.
